Thank you for your interest in events at The Unknown Brewing Co! We are located at 1327 S Mint St in South End, just outside of Uptown Charlotte. Our raw, post-industrial space is 15,000 square feet and has seen everything from pie fights, laser tag to corporate presentations & elegant wedding ceremonies. We encourage your creativity and wonderment and will work with you as best as possible to make those ideas come to life.

We recently spent over half a million dollars renovating the taproom and have added a rooftop bar with a view of the city and a brand new private event space.


We are happy to recommend Caterers and Food Trucks  for your event. Please inquire. We’ve partnered with some of our best pals to design a variety of menus for you to pick from.


For a Private Event, you can absolutely bring in a small band or DJ to perform! They would be required to bring in all of their own equipment (including speakers). Small groups with little amplification needed work best in our industrial space.  We utilize an iPod system at the Unknown Brewery (with commercial free Pandora) that we would be happy to play during private events as well. Or you can bring in your own MP3 style player with your own playlist and we can sync it to our system for your listening pleasure.

  • Cash, Check paid to the Unknown Brewing Co. or Credit Card
  • Please note if paying by credit card, a Credit Card Authorization Form is required and the card holder is subject to an additional 5% processing fee.
  • 50% deposit is required to hold the date, final 50% due 2 weeks prior.
  • Tax is included in the pricing.
  • Gratuity is NOT included.


If you need to cancel the event, please do so with 2 weeks+ notice, so we can adjust our staffing or possibly rebook another event. For events that are cancelled with less than 2 weeks’ notice, a cancellation fee of $500-$1000 (depending on the day of the week the event was to occur: Monday-Thursday $500, Saturday or Sunday $1000) applies.
